Microsoft patches Windows XP to fight 'WannaCrypt' attacks
I'm all for Windows 10 but I find this "HOLY CRAP."

Support for the OS ended three years ago but yesterday's infection spurred the 'unusual' step.

Re: Microsoft patches Windows XP to fight 'WannaCrypt' attacks
Microsoft has been on the full court press to make sure that things are protected

something they did in the update killed my install of Win 10 (used a cracked copy, only way to get thru an install issue) and its been working without issue for over a year now

so now I have the issue of having Win 10 Pro, but a Win 10 Home key and every thing I try to install Home just installs Pro, so it tells me I have to Activate Windows and since I did an install without Activating, it is a real mess

so I fear Im gonna have to do a Format C: and reinstall windows....
