Screen cleaning
« on: June 11, 2009, 06:36:47 PM »
I just cleaned the screen on my laptop, it now looks shiny and new.

I use innovera anti-static wipes, but I have no clue what the moisture in it is.

it cautions me against putting it in my eyes, so  I don't.
Most people hold terrible views.  I think it's good to let them express them, in order to reveal who they truly are.

I bought a container of Electronic Cleaning Wipes that are supposedly specially formulated for new flat screens. The main ingredient was water so when they dried out I sprayed Windex into the container and continued usage as recommended.

Bottom line...windex does not hurt laptops.

when your cleaning your screen with any kind of liquid, don't spray it on the screen, spray it on the cloth, then wipe it off.

Probably a good idea.

Oh, if your screen has a protective coating, windex is quite good at removing it.
